ABOUT THE ROLE
The project engineer will:
• Assist superintendent or project manager as needed
• Generate and coordinate RFIs (Request For Information) sent to Architect, Owner, Engineers, and Designers, as needed.
• Coordinate submittals and/or shop drawings with the project manager or superintendent, as needed.
• Lead safety meetings, as needed
• Aid project manager with two-week lookaheads and project timeline.
• Assist project manager with weekly agenda.
• Aid superintendent with calls to subcontractors to schedule work.
• Manage small construction jobs with smaller timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
Minumum requirements are:
Proficiency in task management software, including Asana G-Suite Sheets, and Excel
Time management skills
Minimum six months to one year’s experience in high-end residential construction
Strong work ethic
Highly organized
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
The following skills are a plus, but not required:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Background in carpentry
Familiarity with Procore
Plan reading
